Well, as a backup set, they'd do in a pinch. You won't get quite the same angle, and you might see some flicker, but if it's a choice between that and no show at all, these will fit the bill.
DZ tunes them very well before he ships them. The review set I received were dialed in *perfectly*. I didn't even touch the tuning. So if you decide to go with them, rest assured that the image quality will be comparable to your DT-40's. (With the caveat that the scan angle will be lower and they'll flicker a bit.)
