Why not go all the way and call it LaserBoy DAC!
James.
I could, but then again I use Spaghetti too, I wanna give Gary atleast some credit
The Soundcard DAC, better known as the laserboy correction amp, was conceived and initially designed by James (of laserboy fame) and then made into a kit by James and DrLava... so its IS a LaserBoy Correction Amp...
not that that at all matters because in the end.. its a just a sound card dac.. but Gary (carmengary) had nothing to do with its design.. he just worked with DrLava (i think) to make spaghetti work with it..
and dont get me wrong.. Gary is a super rad guy...
Gary is a cool guy!
So is drlava.
Actually my friend of some 32 years, Dean Hammonds came up with the op-amp design for me, and I prototyped it and tweaked it a bit.
We have more work to do!
Dean is the best I've ever met at figuring out electronics and physics stuff. I want to get him working on a set of calibration techniques for scanners using LaserBoy. It would be the best in the world. I already know it!
James.
