Talking Look what I just got!!!

My friend Steve just stopped by and gave me this!

He saved it from certain destruction out of a real film X-ray printer.

Is this thing beautiful or what!

He thinks it is probably a matched pair of 650 to 640-ish reds at a combined output of 60mW or so. We'll see!

It's built like a Swiss watch!

That's a cool little setup. Definitely worth playing around with!

    Have fun and post pictures.

I'm not sure. They might be 9mm.

thats from a Agfa x-ray film printer. Model unknown.
My local surplus place scrapped it.

it was labeled 170 mW 645 650 nm

Since you can always divide a cdrh sticker by 2 or 3, I'd say its 60 mW total.

note the wide bandwidth drive cables and light feedback pickoff. The diode position adjustments are at the BACk of the collimator.

This fired into a high speed polygon and then a huge beam correction and fold lens array.

That was the only one they had, so please dont Pm me to death asking for more.

wow that's gorgeous. You could get 300mW of 643 or 500mW of 660nm without even trying with that thing Wonder how the beam size is.

    Hey James!
Wow! Nice little setup! Get some drivers for it and power that sucker up.
    Enjoy!
