Yeah, a few people have linked to it in the past. It's a really nice tool, especially for some of those really weird lasing lines (copper bromide, HeCd, etc) that you don't run across every day.
Adam
Yes Jim thats the same source as that chart I sent you some months ago.
Have used the prog in one of its earlier incarnations

If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

And I can vouch for the Ion lines accuracy :-)

Some days one just hasta brag to feel good.

Anyways, how do I post a image into a post ?
I'd like to show you guys the cover of a book :-)

Ah, so, it is a link that displays the photo. I'm heart broken, I will continue with
attachements.
Thanks for telling me the secret!
and now for something entirely different:

Anybody else here besides me ever lase 575 in krypton ?
Anybody else here ever lase krypton in YGB mode with both yellows?
Anybody else besides me ever lase a ion laser in the IR? UV?
Anybody else here get the 3rd KR deep red line? The Forth KR red at 633 ?
JON?

Hey Steve -
..well, ya got me there, Cap'n ...though I have SEEN a Kr lase green... very cool color... ...wait a minute! - it's right there, in the machita-pic!... 263teenth from the left!
...But I think Laserman532 may have you... ...just kidding - you're both friggin' LaserGods!!!!

Show offs!
One of these days I'm going to get Clandestiny to bring one of his copper vapor units to SELEM so we can all see the lovely greens and yellows.
And while I can't begin to compete with Jon (to say nothing of Steve!), to my credit: I used to have an IR HeNe, along with a pair of green HeNe's and one other HeNe that lased orange at around 620nm or so. (It's amazing what you can get off E-bay when you buy HeNe heads in bulk!)
I sent all of these tubes (and about a dozen more) to Sam Goldwasser a few years ago. He went through each one to see if there was anything that could be salvaged. One of the greens was dead, but the other was making something like 600 microwatts. He still has it. The IR HeNe wasn't lasing, but he wanted to keep it because he thought he could make it work. And the orange one was only making .5 mw, but it was a unique color so he kept it as well.
The rest of the tubes were dead, save for a few that had loose conections on the head. He sent back the ones he could save (two of which are still lasing at over 7 mw), stripped the optics off the dead ones, and sent me a bunch of alden connectors and some extra test leads for my oscilloscope in payment for the rest of the heads he kept. (Truthfully, I had no use for the ones he kept anyway. In fact, I thought they were all dead already. I sent him the heads so he could salvage the optics before disposing of the tubes...) I was so happy that he got a couple of the heads working for me that I sent him a pair of dinner gift certificates for his trouble.
One of the members here (WeakStation) used to have an ILT krypton with either RGB or RYGB optics in it... I think he sold it though. And I remember someone else talking about a HeCd unit they had recently. But beyond that, the rest of the wavelengths Steve mentioned are pretty esoteric; unless you're in a lab you'll probably never see them.
