I have finally nailed a laser housing and finished tonight. This will have 4 wires out of it...two for power and two for mod input...

Thats OK...I have one i made here that is doing 100mw....usually 114mw. More careful temp tuning soon....a few more mw's. I am now dealing with a diode manu here in the states that is getting better specs and batter prices on less than 10 pcs than the China outlets are presenting. They even have 20 watt packages in 5mm C mounts with 1200um strip width. I have one on the way for testing....destined for a 473......

I wish that the HASS machine was mine....a friend is letting me use it. He has a shop full of these....but this is the newest this year. Few bugs in interface to be worked out between it and master P/C. Then again I load all programs on a jump drive.. This work is for a few reds at 658nm. I have another program I want to try for a 473nm layout. It is going to be tough now. I have a manu that has priced me 473 cheaper than I can make them...I am tempted to get one and take it for a test drive. My machine are a lot smaller and more labor intensive.....pure G code....I guess I am in the wrong business....I wish I did this sort of thing for a job. I don't know if I would want to leave work.
