    This unit is definatly faulty.
Kept it running for about a minute and it started flickering and turning up and down in intensity.

Should i talk to Aixiz about this or is this what you should expect of a $65 laser?

Is that hot glue all over the front of that laser??
    yikes!
if so..try something else like a strap with nylon ties??

Its a really cheap hot glue gun with low temperature so the glue peels right off.

    I bought a 50mW green labstyle from aixiz.com.
The plan is to build a 20k scanner with it but for now I connected it up in an old lunchbox.

In this picture youll see Ive got a lot of scatter of the beam.

The up and down ones cant be seen by eye but the right and left can.

Is there anything I can do to prevent this or will it solve itself once i point it at the scanners?
clicking on my avatar will show the tricolor photocoagulator resonator cavity from a Lumenis Varia eye surgery medical laser, which i am attempting to refit. It originally was designed to produce 50-1500mw of 532 / 50-600mw of 659nm / 50-600mw of 561nm (Yellow)
Clicking on my Avatar will show a picture of the inside of this cavity with a 1cm bar diode in the first of 3 OEM postions & KTP holder.

En svensk till, trevligt! (another Swede, nice!)
I have two of these lasers, one does 97mW easy and the other one that I just got has a really bad mode hopping problem, I get two beams and around 30mW output!
I have emailed Aixiz a couple of days ago but so far gotten no reply.
