Ben I think you misread. Its ferrous and aluminium that corrode not stainless, thats what I was saying.

Thus, sacrificial anodes being used on ships. I have also heard about them being used on the outsides of shipping containers when people buried shipping containers. Before this thread I had never thought about the implications in laser projectors. Thank you for bringing it up it is something I will have to think about!
