Just thought I would mention, but you probably all realise anyway, that there are no installed smoke/hazer machines at the hall so we need to all bring our own smoke inducing devices for the day.

Maybe an idea we can run with for the day? - Each laser enthusiast personage that attends the hall for the event is to pay £10. We have to pay a maximum of £100 for the hall for the day so what if the leftover's goes into a hat and is raffled towards the end of the day???? If £10 is not enough then maybe £15 to add to the final prize??
What do people think?

I'll be bringing my 1200 Watt Smoke machine which should be more than ample for that size of hall.
A Hazer would be a nice addition if any dudes have one (I know Jem has a meaty bugger but his attendance is 50/50).
No probs with a £15 ticket for a cash draw (but a blue 500 mw would be even nicer)

I'm planning on bugging out at about teatime (unless the outdoor display keeps me hooked after dark) so other Smoke Machines may be required after that (depending on how long the affair continues into the night).

Yeah, If I get there i'll be bringing my Hazer - now infinately controllable by DMX for both fan and pump and all through one CAT5 cable that also controls the projector and E-Stop switch

Decision is still at 50/50... But i'll be more than happy to throw £15 into the pot to support the event. Jim, perhaps you could PM me your Paypal addy and i'll send advance payment to you

If I do get there I too will probably be bowing out at about teatime ish.

I can take my Unique2 1.5 kW hazer as well. It has superb-low consumption, so I don't mind

That's great, sound like we will have it covered. I too have a 1200W jobbie so I reckon there will be ample haze for the event.

The missis had a count up of all the 230v sockets avaliable in the hall yesterday - there are 12x doubles. Not to mention the ones in the kitchen etc - That should be enough.

I am going to try the CAT5 approach on Sunday as well Jem with the projector pointing towards me as you did at the UKLEM2.

With Richard having my RGY off of me at the event I will be down to one projector now (My RGB) I have 3 working DAC's (Norm's, Medialas & Moncha) and 3 more in the pipeline (2x Norm's FSX's & a USB sound card type) to build
I need to get some projectors on the go don't I (or stop bloody selling them)

Forgot to mention, I also have my wireless link fully working

Martin, mine is a Unique 2 Hazer, they're great pieces of kit aren't they. It's even better now i've got full DMX control as instead of 99 levels for fan and pump i've now got 255, this means a much finer oputput when i'm using it in a small room.

Just spoken to the CAA and we are clear for the Sunday 14th after 16:00hrs.
We can project skywards all we like as we are in a 'clear FIA' area.
