One of each should give you good results.

Nice pic DZ. Now this would be really useful as a reference if we had pics for all the colours.

Whats going to be really interesting is when someone finally manages to make an affordable 642. Hopefully it will have the depth of 650 but brightness approaching 635.

Although "brighter", I think 635 on its own is far too orange. Deep saturated colours always look better. I suppose 645 would be a good compromise, expecially as prices are dropping and you can get a reasonably tight (3mm) beam from them.

the thing that everyone is forgetting is that that picture will only indicate how the camera sees the colours NOT the ratio in terms of human vision.

    It doesnt
if the camera sees 650 brighter than 635 then its not worth pants

yes but we all know 650 is darker than 635 and thats what the picture shows. the only way we can really know is by looking at it live but we cant do that so the picture is as close as we can get.
personally i think its how it would look if you were there but the only person that really knows that is the person who took the picture.

if anyone knows who took it then could they ask them to advise if this is an acurate picture

    cheers

so look at my pic - which is the longer wavelength?
is the left hand one lower power or longer wavelength does the colour really show a difference - are they the same? - my point is its what the camera shows isnt really a true representation of the visiblity or the colour.
