For Burning Man this year I used 1200 feet of that stuff for my art project. DMX controlled EL wire is fun stuff. Making a laser enclosure work in a dust storm is even more fun. :-)

Same here - amazing what 20+ years of operating in close proximity to loud noises (speakers, turbine engines, automatic weapons) will do for the old hearing

Luckily, my car stereo volume control goes all the way to 40

Thanks for posting the PDF's, loopee -
Now I can finally afford to white-balance my RGB projector.....

This reminds me of a project I did a couple of years back. I produced 1/10th scale paper models of lighting equipment- scans, moving heads, PAR bars, smokers and even trussing. I then followed this with a matching range of PA equipment. I will convert these to PDF and start a thread for them.

You should be able to built a complete concert stage on your kitchen table.

Thats why I now wear Alpine Clubbers Plugs. Can't protect against damage already doen but can protect against future damage. Have 3 different valves offering different levels of protection and they're designed to provide an across the board attenuation rather than a muffling like you get from normal hearing defenders. result is you hear the music pretty muh as it is but just quieter.
