    Default Translation stage for sale

    Hi all,

I have for sale a translation stage, if anyone is interested let me know.

It is used, and you can see from the pics, the bottom side looks a little rough where the anodizing has pitted, but it still feels fairly smoothe. There is a little bit of rust around the spring fixings. Overall it is in fine working order.

There are 4 loose captive bolts sticking through. The micrometer style adjusters are made by Mitutoyo, the movement works and is smoothe.

Size wise, the main rectangle is 78mm x 50mm and is approx 22mm high. The offshoot makes the width 62mm and is 31mm wide.

I am based near Bristol in UK.

    Thanks

It is for adding 2 axis adjustment to optical components, primarily laser diodes.
In the hobby world it could be used to add precision adjustment of the diode in relation to a first mirror or a dichroic, or with a single diode, to aid line up to a set of galvo's.

    A similar thing would be:-http://www.edmundoptics.com/onlinecatalog/DisplayProduct.cfm?productid=1761

You can get 3 axis and even automated, motorized stages.
