    Default DMX-relay decoder boards from LVP/LSP

    New to the collection, we have a DMX to 8 relay decoder - DMX8r. I haven't had a chance to do up a manual for this one yet, but has a fail-safe mode making it suitable for laser use, and the relays are rated for 10A @ 240V.. $165AUD plus shipping - around $100USD give or take a little

    We are planning on expanding the range over the next few months to include a high power DMX- PWM board, a rc servo board and some other potentially useful boards.. I'm debating doing a analogue GM20 driver board..

    Very nice! Its' baby-brother, the DMX01R, looks perfect for an old-skool turbo-fan we like - to - DMX-control project - yes, I know that there are DMX-fans - we have 2, but we wanna convert these other ones that we like, and this little board will be great! - Especially now that it truly seems like our old resource, LSI-One, has finally gone the way of the dodo-bird... And on-off, for these, will be fine, I don't think we'd need to wait for the 'PWM' for speed...(but it's good to know you'll have it...

    Couple tech-??s - it looks to me, like these would have to be at the end of our 'daisy-chain'? (...at least I am not seeing any provision for DMX-thru?...)

    Also, if these are 10A @ 240V, we should be able to run 20A @ 120V - but will this relay pass 120V or only 240?

    Lastly, are you thinking-of making / do you make any DMX - DC relay boards? (...and yes, I already saw the DMX-TTL board - very nice!

    Its just a matter of wiring a DMX out in parallel with the DMX in - If it is at the end of a chain, a terminating resistor should be used

    Also, if these are 10A @ 240V, we should be able to run 20A @ 120V - but will this relay pass 120V or only 240?
    I just looked at the data sheet and these relays don't state the ratings at 110v.. They are available with 16A/250V contacts, and logic states either relay should handle more current at a lower voltage..

    These will work with DC voltages.. A relay is just a switch

    DO IT!!! DO IT!!! DO IT!!! Like I said, LSI-One seems to be no-more (I have to call later to verify, but the site-status is not very encouraging....) so I can tell you, you've already got one customer!
    Maybe we will then! Perhaps a 8 channel GM20 driver board, with damping?

    Why not make it with solid state relays? They are way more reliable and have a faster activation time.

    Also, how bout a board for checking analogue lasers that provides a 0-5V output with a digital readout. I know that would be useful!
