swapping X and Y

If I swap my Xscanner to the Y amp and the Y scanner to the X amp what will happen? Will it cause damage or will thinks just look odd?in which case will I need to retune?

My cables are a little bit too short to reach where they need to go and I can't shift stuff around as my projector is a bit crowded. I'll post pics once it is complete.

Hope its a straight forward fix.

you can do this just fine..

if at all possible try and keep the x amp connected to the x galvo and same for the y (this prevents having to tune the scanners again.)
so put your x galvo in the y spot of your mounting block and you y galvo is the x spot.

and then switch the y wires with the x wires at your ilda connector.

then you are done
