    Default Laser Performer software

    Hello.

I have wrote a software call the LP,it is just like the Pangolin's Laser Performer. It can be used in local PC or reomte Pc to control the Live! in real time. A special function is that it can sync the music to trigger the cue, just like the LivePro winamp plugin.I want to perfect this software,do you have any advice to me ?

Here is another question,Did anyone have a case that need to sync the lasershow in different places ever?If you did ,how to connect these laser system? Wireless DMX? Internet or Intranet? or other methods?

    Advice?

Yes - post a link to at least a demo of the software.

Yes, a demo link would be a great help at getting to know your product better.

SMPTE is quite common way to sync different systems, like lights, pyros, video etc...
and it's just audio signal, so easy to spread almost everywhere....

also you should look MTC (midi time code)

    Hi Hearts_j

    and welcome to Photonlexicon

That looks like a really nice piece of software, well done!

As others have mentioned it perhaps would be nice if you could release some sort of demo version, that way forum members could offer better advice. You don't say whether or not you intend to sell the software or give it away for free. If you eventually intend to sell it commercially I can understand that you wouldn't want to send it out for free.

However, whatever you decide to do keep us informed.

I'd like to see the option of having graphical icons for cues instead of writing (perhaps the first frame, a selectable frame or a user definable icon (jpg, gif etc)) as pics are much more accessible than "cue14", "cue15" etc.
And a Preview Window so you can see the realtime output.
    And support for Touchcreen use.

It shouldn't need support for touchscreen use

Provided you can click on it with a mouse button you should be able to use it with a touchscreen

that is correct sir, a touchscreen (in its most common version) is nothing but a mouse.

Unless the UI relies heavily on the right-mouse-button or scroll-wheel.
That way touchscreen is a very crappy mouse replacement.
