After all this time, I finally got a round tuit.
This is a really NEAT design. He used a full size USB jack, that is much stronger than the mini. Cool idea!
This board is based on the original LaserBoy Correction Amp schemo that Dean Hammonds drew back in 2004. It uses a 5.1 V zener diode as an offset voltage reference.
My review of this device is simple. It works perfectly!

 300EVIL Glad to hear you like the board. Also, the 6th channel is pin selectable for the ILDA output. You can also use the voltage output of the DC-DC converter or the USB for signals sent to the ILDA connection. For instance, I used the 5V out for controlling my shutter to pin 13.
