It depends if you're talking about the FB3 version, or the QM2000 version.
The FB3 version is a bit cheaper - contact Pangolin through their web page for the current price.
Both versions can control multiple cards, via USB for the FB3, or via direct PCI slot and/or across a LAN for the QM2000 cards.

AWESOME piece of software if you want to perform with live lasers synced to music!!

Yes I know pangolin is awesome
And that is for sure what I will have someday on my desk..

But I just wonder if I need it right now..
I`m bit confused about all different types of pangolin setup.

    Today I have mamba black.
I can make my own show, I can play other show, I can buy show, And I can render live show from a Cam..
And all the show is synced with music.. both Beam and graphic show..

And to be honest, do you think the 14-19 year old drunken folks at the dance floor can tell the different from the pango beams VS. the Mamba Beams ? :P

But dont take me wrong, I will for sure have pangolin someday..
I just think I wait until I got the correct amount of money to buy the best, not the second best !

    Just my personal opinion -

If you ALREADY have Mamba Black and it works for you, you probably wouldn't gain a lot by switching to the FB3. You're right - save the money for down the road, then upgrade to one of the Pangolin LD2000 packages.
    You definitely wouldn't be sorry!

(I must admit - my FB3 has pretty much been dormant since I acquired my LD2000 package this past summer! )

    Default I found another option

    Good Day,

I was playing around with LFI Player http://sourceforge.net/projects/lfiplayer3d last night and actually read the manual!!! It noted that it supported a USB DAC made by accesio (usb-da12-8a). If the price was a bit lower I might actually buy one, currently it is comparable to the price of an FB3 OEM kit.

    http://www.accesio.com/go.cgi?p=../usb/usb-da12-8a.html

If you haven't tried using LFI Player I would give it a try, I have been having all sorts of fun with abstracts! The main reason I am using the LFI player right now is it supports a GWS card (ISA cards FTW).

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.
