blu ray 8x

hello
does anybody know where to find a 200mw blu ray 405nm laser diode or module? i know lasersurplus does them but for a stupid reason they have a notice that they no longer accept international orders!!!! so if you know anywhere else that i can order on of those diodes please help

are you kidding me :S, that's just stupid.... I just bought my first blu ray stuff from there (along with some other stuff) and I thought that shop was great! Good service and fast shipping, why aren't they accepting international orders anymore?

good question ive orderd from them before.
Had no problems getting them to ship to the netherlands.

i don't really know to be honest but you can have a look yourself they have it as a notice on their home page !!!!
i guess their loss when it comes to money

High octane states on the forum that he will accept orders from people that he has shipped products to before. He will also ship to active members on the forum

Has been burnt several times by people abusing the PayPal system overseas, so the only solution sadly was to stop international orders.
However, drop him an email or PM and I know he will be able to sort you out, he's very helpful.

Nothing "stupid" about it... He got ripped-off by an international buyer... and
has taken steps so that it will not happen again...
If any international buyers find this unfair... then they should hunt down
the International Rip-Off artist and take out their frustrations on him...

I no longer ship to certain International locations for that same reason...

What had happened to me (and probably to HO)... the buyer was not happy about the
shipping costs (which he knew in advance) and was again not happy paying his own
countries duties and taxes... and decided to do a CC Charge Back...
Doing a CB.. gets the funds immediately removed (frozen) from your PP account... even
though you have not received the disputed item back...
And if you did not include Delivery Confirmation (which for many international locations
can't be had)... you're up Sh@t creek without a paddle because the buyer claims he didn't
receive it...
That's why International shipping is so expensive on my products. I'd rather not make a sale
because of high shipping costs rather than get get ripped off again.
