Default UK people : bargain touchscreen

Now that I have bought one, I'll share this with you guys

I've been looking for a cheap touchscreen for a while now and I've found a guy who has 17" lcd touchscreens with panel mount bezels for just 90£ (10£ shipping for you UK guys, 33£ for us europe guys )

This couldn't have come better for me with the low pound-euro rate

Hurry! He's only got 15 left

Nice. Thanks for the tip. The web site has drivers for W9X. This VDU is discontinued but has better support than many that aren't, from many places. I went for one. Going to way short of money now but this really is something I've needed for a while, and it fits. Exactly the same resolution I use, and perfect for low power ITX machines like MII12000 which I rely on entirely now.

Edit: a look at the buyers list shows these really are selling fast, several per day. If you want one, go now, they could all be gone in 24 to 48 hours at current rate.

I'd recommend requesting the mounting bracket (it appears to be optional) but apart from that, it looks a good deal.

Ahhh.. so the optional stand probably isn't available as part of the package.
Still a good deal though and I think that their monitors are VESA compliant so a stand can be found easily.

I recently purchased a 19" model (for nearly twice the price) and that's currently being fitted into a flight case because that also came with no stand.
Just something for prospective buyers to be aware of (cus it caught me out a little bit).

I actually like it like that
I will also mount it in a case at a very shallow angle. That should make operating very easy

I fail to see a single word whether the EXTERNAL power supply is included.
I hate when only monitor's external power supply is missing to run a show ...

    Hi All,
How would you guys use a touchscreen? Do you have applications that have touchscreen drivers? Or are you writing them yourselves?

Most work as if you was moving and using a mouse over the screen.

Some applications have special "Touch Screen" mode in that it displays the screen to the use with larger buttons and other "GUI" items so makes it easier to touch.
