    Default 7W @ 532nm Under $2K...

I can't afford it but it looks interesting. Looks like it does 3rd harmonic as well. Definitely Q-switched.

It is an ESI laser yag, double or third, looks in real good condition. At sp we built the series 3000 doubled yag using this esi engine. Cant tell if this is extra cavity or intra cavity...our series 3000 was extra cavity, very low conversion effeciency. These engines are real work horses in resister trimming and material processing, if I had some extra cash this would be in my inventory at this price...it is a real deal.

This statement always sucks: "Note: Condition is Unknown as we are unable to test"

I would tend to agree, however this esi engine appears to be complete and replacement components are easy to access and big shock here...THAT COMPANY IS STILL IN BUSINESS! All you can do ask questions ask for close up pictures (their pictures are bad) and find where it is an go look at it. But this machine has TONS of potential for that price IMHO.

Yeah, typical Ebay ad... I'd imagine worst case scenario, the arc lamps need replacement. Or, an idiot was behind the wheel and screwed with the whole setup. That's what happened with my YAG. I'll fix it though.

I just wish it said, 151 volt lamp @ 17 amps, like it should.

    They have it backwards.

I have one of those...well sorta...I bought some bits off a guy in the UK like 6 or 7 years ago and I knew there was bits missing and have reckoned it stood little or no chance of getting it running but now I realise just how much is missing! I have the main base, cavity which is seiuosly damaged one at least one half (the plating is messed up) but has Yag and flow tubes - no lamp, I have a couple of circuit boards one marked Q switch driver, but I have no q-switch. There are front and rear cavity optics but not much else. I wouldnt mind but it dont even look that sexy to just sit and 'appreciate' with all the bits missing
At least it didnt cost much

If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.
