    Default M4V video conversion?

anyone know of a DRM program (OTHER than "Tunebite") that can convert a DRM protected downloaed m4v i-tunes video??

i dont care what it converts it to. but i am SICK AND TIRED of i-tunes!! and they wonder why people hack and "steal" music!!!

i gave a 7 year old kid an i-tunes gift card so he can download some stuff and he cant even view the movie he donloaded and paid to watch!!

G-D forbid you want to use i-tunes on more than one computer. i mean, these days NOBODY has more than one computer!!! CAN YOU IMAGINE HAVING MORE THAN ONE COMPUTER?????

Yeah my Nephew was given an iTunes card for Christmas. The person that bought it for him was told "Yeah, can get songs for any MP3 player with it.". He did not have iTunes or an iPod, got iTunes to get the downloads but then could not get them on his MP3 player as iTunes only regonizes iPods etc. Luckily I knew what to do and told my brother to burn the songs to a CD and then rip them back in with another music player, you will have to tell it the song names etc as you will not have created a recognisable "Album". All sorted.

At least now iTunes are doing there music download DRM free, 8 million tracks imediately and another 10 million by the end of the first quarter. The pricing is also going to change as well. No more all tracks are 79p (I am from UK not sure what they charge in other countries). Some will be higher some will be lower and I think it is governed by the supplier of the tracks not iTunes.

Back to your question, have you tried AVS4YOU.COM it costs $59 for unlimited access to all of their programs, I started with the AVS Video Convertor and paid my money and now have all their programs and free (except for initial cost) updates for life. That does M4V conversion.

iTunes isn't perfect, but it *does* allow up to five computers on each account. You just have to authorize them. As for playing DRMed videos on non-Apple players, well, that's a bit tricky. Roll on DRMlessness. iTunes does work with non-iPod players, though, as long as you're not trying to play DRMed files. I use it with my phone (Nokia N95) all the time.
