    Default Coherent 212 Power Meter

Anyone got a manual for a Coherent 212 Power meter? I just got a new one for cheap with a detector and attenuator on ebay.

I do. Its a great manual complete with schematics. Your not going to find the weird batteries it uses, but it will work great using 4 9V batteries to supply the +18/-18 to supply the op amp.

I've had many of these meters, in fact have 2 left over. Did your come with the 1000:1 attenuator?

HA! That's funny. I just picked up one of these off of ebay as well. I just received it today and noticed it also has batteries. I was expecting a power cord. Good to hear you can use four 9V batteries however, I think the reason they used the 8.4V mercury batteries is because of the stability. I am wondering if alkaline 9V's would cause inaccuracies with the meter if implemented.... I hope.

I would also love to get a copy of the manual if it's not too much trouble.
    Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I also have seen the Ebay listing. I made it to FTP root at ftp.photonlexicon.com then FTP directory /ILDASWAP%20Mirror/ at ftp.photonlexicon.com
But I am having trouble finding the file from there. I will buy the ebay file if I have too or pay you for your file.
    Thanks again Steve.

    file should be cohr212.zip

not worth buying, 4 pages of drivel and one simple schematic.
