    Bake the dessicant frequently.

I'll be using 4 packs of SILICA GEL inside my projector, a great & cheap way to keep out moisture

I don't think condensation would be a problem. First of all, it can only form on two occasions; when you put it in the garage and when you bring it out of there. That is unless there are large fluctuations in temperature for the duration of the storage. On both occasions it can be prevented though; when you put it in there it will be hotter than ambient temperature, so the air in the case probably contains more water than it can hold at the lower garage temperature. This will condense as the air cools down if the system is closed. It is avoided by leaving the case open as it cools.

Oppositely, when you bring it back in from the cold the system should be closed to avoid condensation.

Desiccant is never a bad idea though. Silica gel is for the convenient, molecular sieves for the cool and calcium chloride for the cheap.

Calcium chloride has to be in a container though, as it's deliquescent (it absorbs enough water from the air to dissolve itself) and that solution is probably rather corrosive to aluminum. The nice part is that you can get a 50 kg sack of it for like $20 and it absorbs a lot more water than silica gel.

I'm most concerned about cold temperatures and misalignment of the optics in the laser head(s).
