    Lightbulb

As may be expected, I have an animated gif that fits that scenario perfectly.

But I fear a good old clue-by-fouring if I were to post it.

    Use your imagination folks .....

I am starting to get concerned about this lightwave 210
it has a second beam shooting out at about 30 deg.
@ 2 watts CW main beam, the 2nd beam is 24mw's.
I could measure at lower or higher current it is linear

    Is this laser head shot?

As I explained to you in email already, the optical path in that head is quite complex and stray reflections, especially ones that are on the order of 1% of the primary beam are not unusual. Block the stray reflection with an aperture if it bothers you.

    Umm ok,thanks
Yes you did,but this stray beam seems to be getting worse,It was barely visible when I alerted you to this, now with about an hour of operation the intensity has increased
I would think it would have only one beam.20K$ laser
no other laser that I have owned has done this,(3)Coherent DPSS's Not the compass's
Even my old Mr.coffee had one beam.

I just hope a optic is not failing

It's here. The back panel got dented in but probably not enough to keep it from working. However, you forgot to sent the cables that connect the controller to the table. It's useless without the cables.
