Come on... I am sure you could rebuild what you had and maybe get a cheaper DAC and controller software for much less than what you had invested before...

it really sounds silly.. but when i do things, i like to move "up the ladder"..
    Better..faster..more power and control.

I think i really wouldn't be any more happy or less sad with a smaller DIY projector.
Until the time/money comes for a new projector project :-).... i wil look at you guys and those nice build projects.

I tend to just go balls to the wall... no steps, no ladder; Popelscan, to Pango... At least you can hold yourself to steps.

    Dimitri,

I'm out of "the game" for 2 years now..
The pictures in this topic are from my first ghetto projector.
I'm really thinking of starting up this hobby again.
Sadfully i need to start from scratch again, but i want to take things to a higher level.
First i want to finish my CNC mill.

I was really shocked when i revisited the forum last month.
1 Watt 445 diodes flying around like its nothing!!!

    Thanx.

No that wasn't te reson i wasn't at the LEM last weekend.
Had a party at my work fridayevening.... got hammered.. puked my guts out at night and felt like shit when i eventially wake up at 11:00.
After i showered i was sitting on the edge of my bed putting on my socks.. i dicided to lay back and close my eyes just for 10 min.
DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH big mistake......wuahahaa when my eyes opened.. it was 15:15 and i still felt like shit.

I promised Bridge to make some product foto's for him, so i had my own little photo LEM setting up op the studio gear.

Hopefully i am present at the next lem... and then have something to bring.
