Hello!
Ich you couble 4 diodes side by side, and take all on the same polarisation, you have a polarized beam! Now, if you couble 2 of them, you can build one where the polarisation ist moved for 90°, or you use a waveplate.
Greetings,
Phil

Wow I must say, nice sketches , some awesome skills you have with google sketchup !
I can't wait to see this !
I like the drawings
But with a setup like this, where every lasers is lined up on the same level with no mirrors to adjust the height..
You must be DAMN sure they all have the same parallel height output !! ?
I think I would have place the lasers different, with the ability to align them more easy..
But I like the combinationAnd I cant wait to see some videos of that bastard LIVE ! (,")
Hello!
The lasers will all laser on 30mm high output (I will make plates under the Viashos to get this beamheight).
There isnīt a problem if the beam isnīt completly come out parallel from the laser, becouse have only 3-4cm to the mirrors or dichros or polecubes!
I can make pics and Videos while I build and if itīs finished, but the problem ist I canīt get darker wavelength than 460nm or 628nm on Photos, so the real colors, etc. will be much nicer![]()

Hey Phil, I have been thinking, is 457 that much cheaper than 445? 457 would mix with 473 using a cuber better. Can anyone comment on the noise of a 457? 473 has some nasty noise in it... I have never seen 457 so I cannot comment.
Hello!
I donīt know the noise of 457nm, I will see in some days :-)
I choice 457nm, becouse itīs the nicer blue. 445nm is a blue with violet on it, so it isnīt as nice as the 457nm blue. For the violet I have add 405nm :-)
457nm arenīt really cheaper as 445nm, at higher power the 457nm cost more. But you must also look on the beamquality, etc.
I have now draw each aluminium - plate with all holes I need (with sketchup I canīt draw srews)
Greetings,
Phil
