Swap the galvo connections - see if the other galvo moves.

Right. I'll try that too .

yeah that worked, leading me to believe the fault is with the DMX board . well not that it worked, but the other galvo moved this time, and so did the bottom one, only slightly though.

there is a whirring noise coming from them, nothing like the noise I got when they did scan.

Hi I have the board and Scanpro20's. When I set them up I noticed in the instruction sheet that the order of the wires between the DMX board and the scan amp needed changing. See top of page 2 of attached. I ended up with pin 1 on the DMX card (the one furthest from the power connector) going to pin 3 on the scan amp (the one closest to the jumpers) and pin 2 on the DMX card going to pin 1 on the amp. I left the other 2 pins unconnected as the manual showed it. I found it worked fine witout the mic/pot as I guess this only needs to be there when the DIP switches are set to S2L mode. Hope this helps and maybe check your wiring again. Cheers Mickey

I put the pot and mic back in and it still won't work. I'll check the wiring again, but im pretty sure it's all good.

They were up and running before I put them in the new case .

EDIT: I'll contact dave then, since I don't have ILDA.

    thanks for everyones help !
