Try a different angle. I have found 45 degrees is not the best angle on my dichros. Check out this post for a small experiment I did with dichro angles. It may not be the dichros you have suck, just that they are not performing best at the angle you have the lasers at.

Yeah, and to add to this 'fine suggestion' 'try a different angle', too, as-in: think 'POLARIZATION'... keep it at 45˚ (or whatever you find seems to work a bit better, per Aaron's suggestion...) but ROTATE it slowly through-to 90˚ on the vertical-axis, and see what happens... (...and watch your eyes! )

Certainly, not sure of your set-up, but might be something to check...

    Five comments,

    Uno:
Backside AR coats on the dichros, A La One Stop Laser Shop style.
No offense to Bridge if he hasnt done it yet, but soon he will.
You get a 4% reflection off plain glass.

    Dos:
    Play with the angle

    Tres:
your eyes are lousy power meters, 300 micrwatts some times looks like 300 mW in the dark.

Quatro: play with the polarization, as others have said.

Cinqo: Some dicros are just coated for the wrong wavelenths ( hint, big place, starts with E)

I will be glad to run the dichro on my basement spectrophotometer if you have doubts.

Oh, and are you sure your on the coated face...... That happened to me at Selem, I assumed a dichro was installed in the right direction. Never Assume unless your name is Jesus.
