Damn, Ollie (
oliverst14@hotmail.com), you have some great stuff there! If I see this it remembers me I have to upgrade my equipment as soon as my budget allows it (that would be after I built an RGB, of course).
I have a simple RGB LED-spot at home hanging above the bar. It is now programmed to give a continuous white light when set to on, but I can change this. That white is not a real white, it is in fact some sort of blue. The colourbalance sucks really, and it costed more than enough to expect some quality! It can be controlled with DMX and Freestyler has a great function to control RGB-units. So you could make 255³ colours, as any laserfreak here should know.
Further I don't have much experience with LED lighting. The only thing I could say about it is to not use it with mirror balls. I once saw the local lighting company use a bright moving LED-wash to shine on their mirror balls, while doing a colour fade. Instead of all the colours, you only saw three separate beams in red, green and blue. But it was surely bright! The moving washes had 33 high-powered one watt LEDs! And think you could be blinded with one LED of 1 watt. They surely set the whole dance floor full of colours.
