    That one runs quasi CW. not quite power on demand, not quite CW. I've seen on of them hit 5 watts plus for a few seconds.

    I'll pass it on to my medical friend.

    Hi Steve;

    Welcome to PhotonLexicon. Yeah, we're a fun bunch. You should see us at one of our Laser Enthusiast's Meetings!

    If you're into burning lasers, you might want to check out the CO2 laser thread that 300Evil (the "other" Adam) started. (He also has a pulsed ruby laser, BTW...)

    A lot of us are into laser projectors and laser shows, but high power lasers are cool too. Have a look around and I'm sure you'll find all sorts of great info. If you've got questions, don't hesitate to ask.

    It's interesting, I don't think it says anywhere on PL that this is specifically a laser show forum, it's almost like a bunch of laser show guys just took it over. There are two forums on PL specific to laser shows, "Laser Displays, Shows and Scanning" and "Laser Display Files". The rest are all generic laser related. Kinda suprised that there's not a heavy presence of other groups here, like folks into holography.

    I'm into holography

    Although I tend to frequent the holography forum for holography stuff, I'm also into laser projectors and laser in general and that's why i'm here also

    Cheers

    Cool

    oK EVERYONE THIS ONE HAS UNTIL THE 14th of March to sell, then it has to go to Recycle. The Argon laser I almost sold on my first day, but the guy never got back to me, hmmm????
    Anyway I want $250 for it "AS IS " GOOD TO FIX-UP, the PWS works fine, or someone ( _ _ _ _ _) could use it as parts in the medical field, if needed .

    Thanks Everyone- Steve in Pa.
