    If someone can find out what power this is good for (I'll also do some research), then I may be interested, that is if my PCAOM sells, or Steve is up for a trade ?

    EDIT: never mind, I read mixedgas' post. 5W for a few seconds eh? sounds good !

    Smile Trade ???

    All I need is $150.00 that's all, and I am open for some kind of trade, what do you suggest ? I am looking for a small green laser, one that will last a while but if not a green maybe something you have in mind. I really don't want to recycle this, but I can't "shelf" everything for a indefinite time, Damn bills, I have them also. Well let's hope for the best, Thanks to all of you who have been so helpful and nice to me throughout this journey. lol

    Smile

    Hi Steve;

    Sure would be a shame to see this thing end up in a dumpster someplace. Does it lase in it's current condition? Or at least can you get the plasma to light?

    And what other goodies do you have in your storeroom? I've got a DPSS green laser (lab-style, with analog modulation) that I'd be willing to trade...

    Geez, for $150 I'd buy it if:
    1. I knew it ionizes
    2. You lived a few blocks away!

    How much would it be to ship?

    Cool

    Hi buffo,
    To answer your questions, No it does not , the stainless steel tube broke at the front of the unit, the smaller "NeHe" spot laser works fine, I started a project with it , I'm getting sad looking at it (not really) but that's my justification for keeping a small part of this once "cutting edge" no pun intended, laser alive. Understand???? Brewsters stem ,that's whats broke ,WOW my brain still works................sometimes.
    ok I'm just blabbing now , sorry.

    As for other "goodies" I'm just starting to re-open the big Gaylord boxes and find stuff again, it's kind of like Christmas everyday to me.
    I am starting to figure out what you all need for your hobby , I do have alot and I mean alot of extruded aluminum and I will cut the prices in half after finding out that my prices were to high,some of the items ARE under my profile pictures, I also have cooling fans all sizes and shapes CHEAP,and there is a few large metal project boxes I can see but have'nt been able to get to YET. I have quite alot of different power supplies . All this stuff is slated for recycle sooner or later, but if I see something that looks nice (not beatin) and it works I try to give it another life, we all can't keep buying new stuff, and 98% of the time I have a used item that looks and works just as good ....but cost alot LESS.

    Talk to you later- Steve in Pa.
