Default Pocket Projectors - only just noticed they are HERE

After a few years of TALK, I have only JUST NOTICED they are actually on the market , interesting toy ...two types as far as i can see one using lasers - PICO - and another using ultrabright LEDS ...

Mmmm The above link shows a real live LASER pico projector but i cant seem to confirm if the laser type are being made or sold yet

Any searches for Pico projector or Aiptek Pocket Cinema on google bring up places to buy or just investigate the technology

Sorry if ya awl knew about this , was just surprised when i discovered them on sale.

This is where I found out about these a while back...

I seem to recall a video where they explain that since it uses lasers for lighting, there is not 'focusing' needed because laser light is coherent... etc.. etc... but don't quote me on this

This TECH is quite interesting too ! 3D holographic advertising .....just sales promos at the moment but give it a year or two and the ads will literally be floating down the aisles at your local supermarket

here is one that drove us batty 3 years ago until we found out it makes moisture vapor in the air and only runs in a limited environmental range and projection angle. . If you believed their ads at the time it was a miracle misplaced technology that the guy found by accident.

they fuzzed their first videos so you could not see the airflow. Hid the projectors etc. In the beginning they claimed no smoke, no particles, just air. I love the line about "inverted phase field" in space, on their web site.

yeah. If that's a inverted phase field. I'm chief engineer Montgomery Scott.

So take a laminar air curtain and add smoke, and chill the air, and its worth a patent. yeah right

They've got the mini projectors on sale in PC World, not sure of the type of technology though. They're about £250 ish.

I was having a play with one the other day
