Think about which you can do more often. If you wanna do a show outside, it's kinda hard to get any fog out there, so a graphics show would be more suited, and it if was for in a club/house/party etc, it would be easier to get fog in there, so beams would be best (As you may also be limited to wall space etc.

    Evenin all.
Beams for me most of the time. Thats what got me into lasers back in the early 80's, plus some weapons grade LSD! ( i'm alright now ). Big graphics for advertising also look cool, especially with high power yags :-) !!

    Cheers

well we do laser shows every first friday of the month at the miami museum of science, and usually all 4 shows sell out (250~260 people) and those are 45~ min graphics shows...

i made a radiohead show for them that was 45 mins long (made it in a week after owning my pangolin for a week - had to make it for the first friday of the month )

so there definately is an audence! - somtimes lol

I always use combination of both.
I hired an Italian guy to do my wires. Now they look like spaghetti!

I like 'em both, but definitely think beams generally get the biggest "wow" factor!

This is a show I like for it's artistic value, the content, well .. it is rather "American". Despite the discussion it may fire I posted it because I've looked it up several times just to see how things were done.... !
Thanks for posting the link, Zoof!
Yep, very "American", and very cool!!

My vote will always solidly be graphics-heavy, with nice beam-matrixes via MIRRORS ...but RP, so you get the 'double-whammy-
effect' of aerials / atmospherics, via the 'pass-thru' (ie: a plain-ol' sine-wave is rather boring FP on a wall, but RP...

...sorry the 'example' is so blown-out (colorization / pass-thru of this sho is SO much nicer in real-life) but I think you can still get the 'idea', right? ...should have mo' betta' clips up soon...
