    Default Tech specs for DMX

    Hello ppl!

hope everyone has a great spring. and all projects going forward.

Im currently in the process of planing and drawing my DMX feature right now.

and would like to know if someone has any info on the DMX board that ive seen many uses from Lasershowparts :http://lasershowparts.com/store/inde...d&productId=80

what is the output signal power/current on each channel etc?

    Thnx for any answer.

    regards
    /Rickard

That board is a TTL out board. Processor outputs can sink ~20ma and source ~4ma off the top of my head.. That means you will need driver electronics if you intend on driving anything big like a rotary solenoid or GM20.. Or you could use a relay board.

Attached is a GM20 driver board, that's intended to mate with the DMX16T, or a upcoming analogue drive board..

Lastly, I'm just in the process of finishing a single channel and 8 channel RC-servo driver. These things are not as quick as the GM20 or solenoids, but they are cheap and easy to use

    Thnx for the answers.

yea what im looking for is to drive auctuators/solenoids.

havent really find any solenoids i could use yet. But i have a few auctuators and they all are triggered with atlest 3-5Volts.

so what im looking for is something to trigger them.. prefereable an DMX board or something similar.. But i Heard FB3 can handle DMX and as im saving up to buy a FB3 that would be perfect.

    suggestions?
