Ok, I have goten all the parts for my green 10k scanner together and mounted on the metal plate, I just bought the enclosure and have hit a somewhat big problem.
Attached is the layout I have the scanner which is to scale and on the back of the canner I want to have a IEC connector which has a switch and fuse (size is 47x27.5mm and 29mm deep), a DMX In connector which I am not too sure on the dimensions, DMX dip switches and pot for sound sensitivity (12mm).
The problem I have is how to fit all that onto an enclosure which is only 89mm high (minus 10.2mm for the aluminium plate) and 279mm wide while keeping it looking reasonably good and not having the main power cables crushed up againsed other components.
There is a gap of about 70mm above the Display Dsp board next to the amp but I am not totally sure what I can get above that.
I do want to get a fan on there as well but I guess that can be moved to the front. The way I layed it out was so that all components fit onto the bottom half of a U shape enclosure so that the lid can easily be removed if it needs to.
