WOW! A reply that comes from Italy's antipodes!

My (old) camera is a Canon Powershot A40 and you seen right mate... It has a dozen of blasted pixels...
My fault.... this is because I don't take good care of my camera when shooting pics...

Changing argument... Do you know?.... I well know Auckland, the "City of sails"...
I've been over there for about 5 months in 2002-2003, when America's Cup has been played

Please, give a huge kiss from me to Mission Bay, Blockhause Bay and Parnell...K-Road...... etc. etc.

    Cheers!

    Thumbs up

Nice Photos!!! I am going to call it... Picture 7, three fat beams... RGB, that red looks like 635 to me. Right there where the smoke hits the beam. Is that what you are using, or am I on crack?

    Hi Aaron!
    Thanks for appreciate.

Picture 7.... I taken pic at distance of around 3 meters from projector and RGB circles were over there around 5 cm diameter each.

You seen half right about red....
In truth red are two: >250mw/650 and >250mw/635 joined by PBS cube.
Mate... This means you should need to change your "crack-pusher" as he is giving you crap for crack...

    I'M JOKING, OF COURSE!

    Greets!

Hehehe... all the familliar sites I used to cruise around on my bike to! Mission bay is very close to my home.. I am up the hill and down the valley from it.

The colours in your shots are amazing.. Just like bridge said with his customer - I have a watt over you yet I can't get close to the same results at all. Pangolin will help but it will never match yours. Lovely construction and design and I love seeing that sort of effort poured into a laser projector. Poor camera but so lucky for it to see such beauty at the same time!
If you are ever out this way let me know - I will sort out some laser stuff to do hehehe.

Italys antipodes.. close enough I guess More spain/britain but I am not sure if there are parts of italy that can be classed as such. Close enough to be though eh :P

And from the land of the brown flightless bird we call a Kiwi to the land of modenas, f40's, f355s, gallardos, diablos, countach and the best food in the world.. I salute you my fellow laserist.

Awesome pictures, Steve! The colors are breathtaking! You've done a great job with that projector; your alignment is perfect!

Sure wish I was your neighbor instead of the A-holes that you have now. Unlike them, I can appreciate a good garage laser show!

Thanks alot to ALL of you, Guys!!
I don't deserve so much appreciations....

@ Marc *gottaluvlasers*.... "Toscano Extra Vecchio" is a medium-strong class cigar. It is 9 months aging. Flavor is full, not too much dry and taste stay into your mouth for enought time after you finished to smoke (up to half an hour is you don't drink or eat anything). Smoke is not smelling (because any additive is inside for to increase aging time: 100% Kentucky tobaccos and Italian Tuscany tobaccos). Price is medium: a 5 cigars box cost 5.60 Euros.

About colors balance and alignment now....
@ Adam *buffo*.... Did you said "perfect"???
WOW! Teacher saying "bravo!" to pupil!!!!!
Mate.... too much honor! Nothing is perfect on this World.... If you looking with care, you can see a little bit of green in excess. Anyway I am satisfied... for a rookie as me this is a big goal!

    @ Bridge now..... Unbelievable
Have I to tell you "how to do"?
You are joking mate, Doesn't true?
I am a rookie.... YOU are laser's Engineer!!!
Anyway.... I think I had a huge luck only.... I had a great patience, spending time and time to try alignments of PBS, small red dichro reflecting mirror GBR - GB dichros and scanner's mirrors.
Colors purity? Your worth... Laser-Wave's worth.

I can only tell you this:
    - place laser heads so closest possible to dichros and other optic components.
    - take a care to respect the right anglings (90 and 45 degrees) between components
    - rays have always hit dichros, PBS cube and mirrors as more next possible to the center.

But the most important thing is.....
to have the right temperature inside your projector to obtain a good balance and blanding. We often forget this particular main point...
A good warm-up time is needed for a good balance.
I waited next to 20 minutes before to see "a good blue" color.

As I already told you, I had a lot of luck last night, when I taken those pics...
Into my studio room was around 20 ° Celsius, even if window was opened cause to allow at cigar's smoke to go out.... (outside was not more than 4-5 °C...).

I post here some pics of "frame-test" I used last night for my laser beams and some screenshot about setting of my laser software (Showeditor2008).

    That's all Mates!
Thanks a lot one more time for your good words.

    Greetings!

    Steve (Stefano)
