    Default Case building material

The decision is made, I need a decent case for my projector.

I really like the idea of using aluminum frame building material for the case construction.
After a search for products at local hardware stores the best I came across is called 'handy tube' but that isn't going to be good enough due to plastic connection pieced.

Can anyone recommend a brand name to speed up my search or a an internet shop where I can get the profiles and connecting pieces? Or a real shop in the Netherlands, close to Den Haag....

Thanks! If I can't find anything on this side of the pond I'll try to persuade them to ship to Europe, but it probably won't be cheap...

I did hear of an equivalent over there used by a member here in their build... I'll repost if I find that thread...

    Wow, what a machine!

what is the profile material you use for the frame called?
    Thank you.

The material is aluminium and the name is international i think: "Alumium Profile bars"

I was planing on buying the from "Thorlabs" at first but found a swedish company that sells these for the half price of thorlabs (exact the same quality specs) here they are on thorlabs: http://www.thorlabs.com/NewGroupPage...ctGroup_ID=194

Although i know there are an US company selling the same on Ebay so go and search for "Aluminium Profile" there and you will find some.

I Can really suggest using with these when building an enclousure. Really easy and fast. I think the chassi took me about 2hours with sawing and mounting. and its really stable and its leveled. and the weight is nothing.
I would also look for "Aluminum Extrusions", T-Slot is about the same... KeeperX already suggested both.
