Yes, camping is available, it is a full state park with campground and quaint tourist hotels all over the area.

One sec... this TEC takes in 400W (15V X 26A = 390W of input power). There is no mention of how much it will actually dissipate...

As far as I know 10% efficiency is expected from a descent TEC, thus 40W of dissipated heat, while the rest is heat generation... thus, to get 4KW of cooling, you will need 100 of these, and thus would need to dissipate 36KW off these TEC's... To get the full 12KW you would need 300 TEC's, and must dissipate 108KW

Don't forget either a power supply that can output 4.5KV @ 26A, or 15V @ 7800A, or some combination like 2250V @ 3900A. That itself will probably need another 100 TEC's to cool it

Compression methods (don't quote me on this) can do ~50% efficiency.

    Lightbulb

Then if we lined them up right, we could use the heatsink fins as a grill to cook on.

OK, here are some pics, including one of the raw cave with the lights on. I got some good video, too, will let you know when it is up.

The laser worked well, I left it down around 25-27 amps because I was not sure about the cooling thing. But it was plenty of power for one of the darkest gigs I have ever done! The Blisslight laser starfield really pushed it over the edge; most of the time you never even noticed that there was a cave up there. - Tim

Big up scooby doo crew! Sorry I missed the event, looks like a wicked time. Are you guys bringing any of your laser stuff out to Flipside this year?
