    Default New Laser-Wave Accessories

One question I am asked a great deal is how do I mount the Laser-Wave driver boards?

Here is the solution Simple 'L' brackets with slots where you screw the bracket to your base plate and a selection of M3 tapped holes to match the different sized of drivers we have available.

Also available are the new mounting bases which were designed for the 15mm mounts but will work with the larger 25mm mounts. When used with the 15mm mounts a single M4 screw holds the mount to the base and allows the whole assembly to be fitted from the top - no fiddling with screws from under the deck! The slots allow some adjustment fore and aft and the open slot at the front means if you need to remove the mount you remove only one screw and slacken the other. The great thing is that when fitted to the 15mm mount the Dichro is then placed slap bang at the right height for a Laser-Wave laser
To fix to the 25mm mounts you need to use a screw a washer and a nut (M4) but once tightly together the base will provide the most stable platform for the optics mount whichever size you use.

These items will be available on the Laser-Wave UK web site very soon but if anyone wants any in the meantime PM or email me.

The painted steel L brackets will be sold for £3.50 a pair inc UK postage.
and the Dichro mount base will be £4 each inc UK postage.

I mounted mine the same way the fans are mounted to the heat sink - A few screws squeezed between the fins. Is this bad?

I wouldnt say it sbad after all the precident is set by the fan mounting Using the L brackets no ally has to be harmed as the screws tread into the bracke and pass through the slot already in the heatsink
