    Default Pango upgrade problem

I decided to upgrade one QM/LD from Intro to Pro but have a problem and wondered if anyone else has experienced this and may have a nugget of advice to get it working

The upgrade went fine and the board is now detected as a Pro both at Pango application startup and from within LD/LP/ST, but LD/ST seem stuck in the land of Intro with no Pro features available

I tried installing the upgrade CD over the old version (as advised) as well as uninstalling the previous version and doing a fresh install, but same result.

Can’t see anything obvious in the menus that I need to check/enable, does anyone know if there is, or have an idea what I might be doing wrong??

    Thanks

    Lightbulb

I went from Intro to Basic recently and had a small issue. I had already upgraded by abstract banks and color bit depth before and when I installed the CD I lost a few of my old features. I just did a windows restore to before the CD install and everything turned out well. I am not sure this was the correct fix, but it worked. I would send an email to Bill. He should be able to fix it. Or at least refer you to the more knowledgeable Hayden.

I had the same issue here - the board recognized the upgrade, but the software got stuck in Intro!

I contacted Pangolin using the web form on their site and got a quick & easy fix sent to me. Be sure to include the serial number of your QM board, and I'm sure they'll get you fixed up!

Thanks guys, sounds like exactly the same problem you experienced Randy, good to know it's not my fault this time

I'll continue waiting for Bill to get back to me with the fix...

I had the same problem with my Intro to Basic upgrade. Bill helped me out.
