    Default Qm2000.net with vista

First i want to thank mr Brenner for the service of getting the qm2000.net working with my laptop. Very fast service But as it is advertised as plug pay and have fun in my case it wasn,t. I bought a brand new laptop with bare vista no other software like firewalls and antivirus programs on my computer. After i installed the software my laptop couldn,t "find" the qm2000.net. It wasn,t connected it said. After changing Ip adresses i got s fed up with it i brought it to a computershop.(cost me 20 euro,s) I emailled Bill Brenner and he called right away. He said to the computerguy from the shop that he should change something in the Ld2000.ini file. After this and some changes with fixed ip-adresses it finaly worked but i always have to reconnect after i started showtime. Everyone is raving about Pangolin but i think good software starts with working with very software and every system. Just be careful before you choose. There are some other companies that makes also some state of the art software and i think it,s good to compare before you buy.

You can't blame a computer networking problem on Pangolin software. What's the make and model of your laptop?

You forgot to mention the support from the software companies once they've got your hard earned cash.
You had a problem and you got assistance in a short time from the CEO of the company.
How many companies would you get that from?

The QM2000 predates Vista by several years and every single permutation of OS vs Hardware gives an almost infinite number of variables which coud prevent you having fun "out of the box".
I think your comments are a little harsh but maybe you have had better customer service from a laser associated company by comparison so let's hear about it.

Buying and using a laptop/computer starts by comparing the system specifications with the (recommended) requirements of the applications you're going to run on it.

Vista is one hell of a problem, the biggest mistake since Millenium Edition and maybe even worse than that.

Things like "fixed IP" are basic network knowledge and if you buy a ethernet-connected product you should have at least basic knowledge of that, or start reading right when you buy it.

Of course, documentation on QM2000.NET is quite bad (well... it doesn't even exist as far as I know, I've never seen an installation guide....).
