    Default MaxyModules to Support PL

Hey guys, a few weeks ago I posted a request for dead maxymodules. Someone was kind enough to send me two for free! I've replaced the diode in both modules with the open can diodes. Currently one module is doing 174mW and the other is doing 160mW. What I'd like to do is offer these for $55 each ($50+$5shipping). The entire $50 profit on each module will be send to the Janitor to support PL.

There is no warranty on these, however, if for some reason they fail within 6 months, I will replace the diode at cost, which is currently $12.50 from ndrew, plus shipping.

I am going to let both of these cook overnight tonight and check them tomorrow, if all is well then they will be ready to ship. So, the first person who PM's wanting both or just one gets them. Payment isn't expected until tomorrow after they are good and burned in. I prefer paypal for payment for these.

If you are outside of the USA, you will have to pay actuall shipping cost, most likely more than $5!

    Thanks!

edit- no power supply included. I currently have them running on 6VDC wall wart with 5V on the modulation input. They both have analog modulation.

edit edit- These are sold, pending the completion of the burn in and payment. Thanks!

    Thumbs up

Hey, very nice deal and donation! If no one has claimed them in 2 weeks I will get them from you. That will make 6 reds; enough for a PIMP 3 sided axicon. But by no means as I laying claim to then now. Don't have the fundage in the bank until the on call week finishes and arears.

I like the fact of having a solid resolution if a problem occurs....it's on the table. They will fix about anything I am told.

Well the lasers have survived 24 hours and I've just received payment for them. I'd like to say thanks to liteglow for donating the lasers for this! Spec, $100 donation coming your way right now!

I've set the bar, who's next to come up with a creative way of supporting PL?

    You're a good egg, Noonan.
    Seriously!
It's been a while since I have heard much mention of donations to PL. I just made one the other day after witnessing some of the services rendered by our friendly neighborhood admin.

At this Sunday's UKLEM I'll auction a 15" ELO touchscreen monitor (ideal for triggering cues etc) and donate any money it raises to the PL bank.

If it doesn't sell on the day then I'll ebay it instead.
