    Default help with pinkem rgb laser projector

    hi all

    about 6 months ago i bought a 450mw rgb laser projector which was always a bit of a problem to me.
    the dmx control board was causing a problem turning the green diode on all the time. i hooked it up to i show and it was still on.

    i then got a pango fb3 and it would crash the fb3 when i hooked it up to it. i decided to rewire it and remove the dmx and auto features so i can use it ilda.

    i did this today and wired it up as per ilda instructions but they are always all on (the 3 diodes
    the scanners work fine but all i get is a white light instead of being able to select the colour i want.

    i use live pro usb with my pango fb3 and have tried changing the colour in the panel at the side. i decided to ask on here so packed it up.
    iv now remembered that the last time i used it i put the colour control in the options to single colour laser.

    im wondering if this is the cause for this laser doing this?

    Inverted blanking..if the lasers are ..use 3 NTE7404's to set them right.

    the lasers are only ttl blanking
    2 x 10w full colour laser systems
    2 x 4w full colour laser systems
    2 x 3w full colour laser systems
    1 450mw pinkem rgb 30k scanner
    2 x 1 watt green laser
    4 x 1 watt blue 445nm laser systems
    3 watt rgb .

    well near as damn it. i want red, green, blue, pink, purple, cyan and white though which is all ill get from crappy ttl but still better than just white.

    any one know if the single colour setting in live pro will cause all lasers to come on or does it sound like iv made a mistake with the wiring

    ...your lasers are probably reverse modulation....if they are full on with no modulation input...wires disconected....touch the modulation leads together of one laser and if it goes out....you will have to invert the mod. input signal to them. Please correct me if wrong...seen this before...old lasers technology.

    im sorry. i didnt make myself clear, they do go off when i dont run a frame so the blanking on all 3 is working, its when i run a frame in live pro (even if the frame is a certain colour) that all 3 lasers come on. the blanking is working fine as the patern is being displayed properly and the can be turned off i just dont get the colour i selected
