Perhaps it is because the scanners input is differential, and both the sound card dac and FB3 are single ended? An easy option for the fb3 would be to get the differential board to suit it from Pangolin, and all your problems there are sorted

    OK, this is your problem.

Your scanners have a differential input. Obviously the included DMX board has a differential output.

Now, neither the FB3, or the sound card DAC have differential outputs, which means you are only getting half the scan angle out of the latter 2.

Pangolin offers a differential board to fit onto their FB3, which would solve the small scan angle with the FB3, you could add differential output to your sound card DAC i guess..

So I guess if I get the differential board for my FB3, This will help me when I upgrade to LivePro..... I really Want to be able to do Wide Angle Scans or Nice Beam Shows................

So as it is, the FB3 is good for Graphics & Animations by its self, But with the added differential board I can do Graphics, Animations & Wide Angle Beam Scan Shows...... Im I correct?.....

Hey 216. Since your having problems, why don't you and I have a oscilloscope session at James' place some evening. I do world class diagnostics. I can get to the bottom of your problems in a few minutes with the scope. Single to diff converters are just a few cheap opamps. And I'll only bill you a Smile for my time. You could stop and get Dr Lava on the way down and we'll call it a quickie LEM without the booze like last time :-)

i just went from NML fullauto to QM2000.net with LD2000intro and my scan angle is no where near as wide as it was with full auto. Graphics look great with the new LD2000, but i have a large club and really need to figure out quick how to get it wider. (by tomorrow) b.t.w i have CT6800's
