yes i know this site.. it's wery usefull... but i dont understand some things .. or how shod i say i dont know how they are built together .. if you look at photo 3 on his page (LINK) i don't know what are 5 and 6th part .. are they home made .. or are they vital for galvo operations ..

and one more thing .. how are wires from stator windings connected .. are they paired together (first from upper winding and first from lower winding together, and second wires together) ...
or are they connected from first winding (the one that up) to the other one (the one that is down) so there are two wires at the end for connecting the galvo...
or are the wires from windings alone ant ten there will be fous wires to connect the galvos...

thank you for the anwsers ..

i know that i have a lot of questions but i'm only beginner, so try to bear with me

    Hi
5 and 6-th parts are from capacitance position detector, ofcourse home-made as whole galvo. See that text for more info on how it works. In my own design I used cheap optical infrared detectors.

Start of the first winding must be connected to end of the second and windings' directions must be the same. Magnetic field must "enter" into one winding and "out" from another. I.E. magnetic vectors must have one direction.

You could also mail Norm for the schematics of his driver board. I have his galvo kit, but it would not be nice to Norm if I would spread his schematic around. Just email him, maybe he'll help you

I dont think that schematic of Norm's drivers differs from Chan's excepting optical position detector.
