Any free ray optics / ABCD matrix simulator software?

Hi PL,

Does anybody known any free ray optics / ABCD matrix simulator software? I am very familiar at doing this with spreadsheets, but I wonder if there is any free software that will show a nice diagram of the system etc... I should add that I found lots of commercial software that looks very nice, but I am looking for free software specifically.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for these tips. OSLO EDU has this function (and much more), I think this is a very valuable package. Unsurprisingly, there is some learning curve to overcome!
