What's the make and model of your camera? CCD size and optics makes quite a large difference in the ability to tolerate a beam strike. Still scary either way.

Dude, where's the value in flooding the forum with 2 threads about the same thing?
You may be pissed off but there's no need to make multiple threads.
I'm sure folks will answer the original thread (as they have done) if they have some input .

that isnt exactly what iv done. the other trance energy thread started as something totally different and had turned into the same thing.
i thought it best to refer to the other post as to stop some people posting in each.
its more to bring this to the attention of more people and the original title did not reflect what i was asking in the right way. if people saw trance energy as a title they might not look but if they see dangerous lasers they will almost definitly look.

please admins if im wrong in doing this email me but i thought it best to bring it to more peoples attention

    thanks ollie

Well it actually looks like that it happend exactly when beam plane went across the optics, BUT when I did few photo-shooting sessions I had my 3W love 4 metres from camera and camcoder and I was shooting full-power beams without paying any attention whatsoever and I have beautiful pictures and lovely video and both devices still working well, so... probably even GOD wouldn't be sure.
