Internal Server Errors

Had the same problem when I was posting from work earlier today. Seems fine now though.

Copy the entirety of the error message over next time you see it.

I was getting error 500 page not available if I am correct (the apache config should have your errors listed in there if I am wrong about the verbage). I got it when clicking the new posts thing foo.php?bar maybe something to do with the PHP and web server, I tried later every thing was groovy...

but that was yesterday,

The whole of the message I've received each time is copied in the original post. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to give any specific parameters only a generic failure code.

Just got it again.

All I did was click on the "Go to last post" icon on the New Posts list.

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@photonlexicon.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Happened quite frequently to me over the past couple of days... as a matter of fact, I gave up trying to reply to this post earlier because I got the error message and it locked up for a few minutes (same error as above). Can't go anywhere, not just one specific location (including the main page at www.photonlexicon.com).

Admin just a suggestion..
fix the ErrorDocument first

so we dont get 'Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.'

then we will be able to post the actual error

Altough it is good practice.. I think that won't be more helpful.
Somewhere in the apache conf there is an

ErrorDocument 500 /path/to/some/nice-error.html

and this path is unreachable for apache.. so it presents us with a 'standard' 500 message. The nice-error.html, if it was readable, will only tell us in other words that an internal error has occurred.

The httpd-error.log will be more helpful.
