<quote from Daguin from lpf> I know that $210 is a lot of money for a diode, but it is the only way we learn about the diodes as they become available.<end quote>

    So no

US $205.95 Buy It Now > and you can burn a blu-ray disc before you pull the diode!

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Luckily and thankfully... some members (Daguin at LPF) are pioneers in spending the big
bucks to do some research into the new 8X Blu-Ray LD technology (out of their own pockets)
for the goodness of the Laser Hobbyist masses...
Thumbs up to "Daguin" and others who risk blowing their $210.00 Blu_Ray for our benefit..

Racism is a pretty strong word, when it is the fault of international laws and banking rules.

I'm going to wait for the Lasorb to hit the street before taking a chance on popping one of these. $12 I can cope with, but fizzling a couple hundred bucks in an instant would be no fun for sure. Like mentioned earlier, I hope the price goes down over the next few months like the phr's did- that would kick ass.
