    Default Another oscilloscope thread

I've found a few scopes in my price range. Out of these, disregarding price, which do you guys think the best for tuning and other general purpose use?

    Tek 465

    Tek 2465

    HP 1741a

    Thanks.

Scratch the 2465--after closer looking, it has problems.

The Tek 465's separate trigger channel is useful for diagnosing jitter problems; I've used the 465 many times and I like it a lot. The 1741a is also a good scope, but I guess I'm just a Tekhead :-)

Never mind.... BK Precision is SO COOL!! A technician there personally ripped apart both the original users and service manuals and scanned them into PDF for me! WOW! By far the best customer support I've ever had. BK ROCKS!
