    Default FB3 & Wireless

I want to extend the USB connection to my FB3, I was planning on using a wireless USB adapter. I have found one from Icron that is USB 2.0 but has a transfer of max 54Mbps.

Does nyone know the bandwith requierements of the FB3?
if using LivePro USB does the bandwith needs increases?

Here is the model im looking at:

    Cheers,

Fancesco suggested this to me, rather than extend the USB cable, extend the ILDA cable as they can be extended a lot longer than USB.
Also, there are those CAT5e USB extenderes you might want to give a go instead:

I wouldn't go the wireless route... I doubt you will be able to get it to work, and if you do, there is always the chance of dropped packets; which as well as stuttering shows looking poor, could be a safety issue in some cases i.e. static beams....

Me too, works a treat but it tends to be a bit sensitive to switching noise.

Just make sure your master safety shutter stays hard wired if you are using this in public.
